I want to appreciate everyone’s feedback as regards yesterday’s write up. The cure for fatherlessness is fatherhood. Being a male is a question of birth but being a man and a father is a matter of CHOICE

The challenge is that a lot of our men were not fathered by their own father while growing up. 

They just provide money when they have, terrorize the children in the name of discipline. Some are not even available. They are consumed by their desire to make ends meet that all they bring home is the cookie jar and not more. 

Fatherhood is a calling place on the male species by God. A call to leadership. You cannot lead others until you lead yourself. It’s a great responsibility. You cannot take that responsibility until you find yourself. 

The question is who are you? 

When God created you, you’re not just another accidental product, you’re a creation of purpose and intent until you find it, you cannot be the kind of father God wants you to be. 

Finding yourself is you, understanding the purpose of your existence and taking responsibility for it. 

Fatherhood speaks of intentionality and responsibilities. If you cannot take responsibility for yourself how will you lead others? Until you can lead yourself you cannot lead others  Evasion of responsibilities is the Hallmark of a baby
