Identity Crises

Identity Crises

While at work yesterday, a group of boys stood directly opposite the office where I was transacting business. Looking at them you knew the kind they were. More like a caucus or do I say a gang.

Suddenly my boss screamed. However, silently to those of us with him and said, unbelievable, when did Richmond starts smoking

That got my attention, so I turned to look at the group of boys again. Richmond is a tall and handsome guy. You need to see him. He doesn’t look to me like one who belongs there just that he was lost.

What he was smoking wasn’t even cigarettes nor the normal cannabis. It was way beyond that.

Looking at them closely, I could see that they bonded together but were all lost. Obviously they have something in common. The Lost of identity

They do not know who they were, so they could afford to be anybody. They wanted to be identified and in the bid to be identified they identified with the wrong thing or do I say in the wrong way.

This loss of identity could be traced to the loss of fatherhood. Even the fathers could not father because they don’t know who they are too

So it becomes the generation of the blind leading the blind. Fatherhood is the essence of life. Being a Father means to be a source.

Until you find yourself and stand rooted and clear in your identity, sons may not be able to define themselves accurately.

The loss of fatherhood is the loss of an entire generation.

WHERE ARE THE FATHERS?
