It was Mama B’s writings that first drew me to SaveOurTeens back in 2020; through a chance encounter on social media.

Since then, her daily insights and regular training have become a cornerstone of my personal growth. Saveourteens teachings have consistently changed my life.

Everyday I wake to look for a diet I didn’t pay for. I call it a diet because as I read,I meditate and this brings about growth for me spiritually, physically and most especially in my parenting skills as a young woman.

I remember last year we had a 21 day practical teaching with Mama B.

On one of these days we were asked to write a love letter to our children and paste it where they would be able to see and read. Till date the feedback of that single action is still very visible because almost every week I receive sweet letters from my kids, even to the extension of their father. Save our teens is not a random platform but a place where undiluted and practical teachings take place with the reference of the word of God.

Undergoing the sex educators training was very challenging but very, very rewarding. Talking to my kids about sex was very difficult as a father, most especially the female. But after undergoing the class, I was able to see the walls, but I can now navigate. One of the parts I still will never forget was when we were taught about the brain, the class was a WOW. If you are not informed, you will be deformed, get the right information from the right coach ( Bisi Bukola Innocent).

Let me take this medium to appreciate God for the gift of men that he places strategically in my journey in life. One of such men I’m grateful for is Mama B, grateful to God our path crossed in Unilag. Thank you for discerning and for extending a hand of friendship to this small boy.

Like I would say “A call to service is a call to greatness.” Just like Jesus told His disciples, he who wants to lead must serve. I said that to say that I’m glad I’m part of this ministry, part of the team, part of the few making an impact in the lives of the young ones.

Being a part of this, continues to contribute to my passion to see the young ones live rightly and fulfil their God given purpose.

On the platform, I’ve learnt interesting and educational topics especially on how to relate with children and teenagers. This makes people wonder why I bring myself down to their level when relating with them.

I also take this opportunity to urge everyone not to take lightly the activities done on the platform. If you don’t see a need for it now, relax and learn. The need for it will come and then you will remember how helpful what you have learnt is.

I have been on this platform of Save our teens for the past three years. This is a platform that I can beat my chest that have changed and transformed my life.

I learnt to be intentional on transforming teenagers around me because if we miss them now then we’ll suffer the consequences tomorrow. I have learnt to catch them young for Christ.

It’s in this platform that I learnt that parenting is a full time job or business that should also be intentional. Both husband and wife should collide together to raise a transformed child that can stand the test of the society. I developed so much passion for teens when I joined this platform.

I pray that God give me the grace that no teen ll cross my path without a great transformation.

Mama B has been my role model and I look unto her, I have learnt and keep learning a lot from her. May the Lord bless her and give her grace to finish strong.

My name is Pst. Joshua Nwankwo. I am into children and teens ministry.

I came across Mama B through her usual daily dose of write-ups. Before then, I thought I knew it all, not realizing I was only laying the foundation. After reading through one of her write-ups, I heard it clearly: “This is your mentor in teens ministry—follow her.” Immediately, I couldn’t hold back; I sent her a direct message to appreciate her work. She didn’t ask me many questions but instead added me to the Save Our Teen platform. Ever since then, it has been from one level of impact to another.

In fact, Mama B has opened my eyes to children and teens ministry—not just through her writings but also through her constant follow-up. She always checks on me, introduces me to platforms where I can learn more, and ensures that I stay connected.

This is just a glimpse of what she has done. At first, I thought she was only writing without practicing, but when I met her one-on-one, I discovered she is far more than her words. She lives what she writes. She is a true example, a role model, a mother indeed, and a mentor.

Mama B, keep doing the good work. I have never regretted following you or calling you my mentor. Only God will bless you and continue to increase your wisdom. More grace, ma.
