God can do all things but he didn’t do all things. He left some things for us to do for him. Adam failed because he was not fathered. 

The lack of fatherhood is the reason Adam committed blunder. He had no one to model it to him. No templates to follow so it was easy for him to err.  

To correct that error God sent Jesus as a baby so he can be tutored by Joseph the carpenter. So he can learn how to be a man, even before he can fulfill his ultimate vision of saving the world from their sin. He first had to learn how to be a man.
